Fall protection

Work at heights above 2 meters must always be secured with personal fall protection equipment. Everyone who is going to use fall protection equipment must have undergone documented safety training.

The course takes place as mixed teaching. 

MTK skolens course in fall protection is designed in accordance with NS 9610.

Target group:

The target group for the course is employees who perform work at height under conditions that require the use of personal fall protection equipment.

Participant prerequisites:

There is no requirement for special prior knowledge to participate in the course.

Learning outcomes:

The participant shall be able to account for the knowledge acquired as well as demonstrate the use of methods and

• use scaffolding in a safe and correct manner
• plan and secure work at height
• prepare a rescue plan as well as secure one's own person, tools and cordon off the area before carrying out work

The participant shall also be able to perform checks and condition assessments prior to use.

In addition, the participant should be able to recognize and account for hanging trauma and

• take preventive measures
• be able to alert, check consciousness and breathing, as well as account for CPR and lateral position

It is recommended to take your own first aid course.
